Information that you provide to us is kept in strict confidence and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the eLifeID.com website. As a subscriber, you always remain in control of the information that you store at eLifeID.com. We collect two types of information about visitors to the eLifeID website: Personally identifiable information (such as name, address, date of birth, telephone number, email address, insurance and financial information, etc.) voluntarily submitted to us during registration and creation of your personal records and Aggregate non-personally identifiable information (such as information about how many visitors log on to our site, the pages they access, etc.). We use “cookies” that are needed to compile aggregate non-personally identifiable information about the visitors to our website.

Personally Identifiable Information consists of information that is unique to you, such as name, address, date of birth, insurance and financial identification information, social security numbers, email address, etc. This is the type of information that most people consider highly sensitive and private and consider most important to protect from unauthorized access. When your register for our services you submit certain information, such as name, address, telephone, social security number, date of birth, etc. As a subscriber to eLifeID, you hereby acknowledge that certain personally identifiable information concerning you is collected and stored by eLifeID and viewed by employees of PolicyWatch Networks, Inc. / eLifeID when you register for our services. This is needed in order for us to properly perform the services that you are requesting.

This most often consists of things such as your search preferences, the types of products you have bought, how many times you have visited a particular website, etc. This type of information usually associated with a particular computer or IP address but not with a particular person. “Cookies” are pieces of information generated by a web server and stored in the user’s computer, ready for future access. Each time you access our website; our server finds the relevant “cookie” on your computer. The information contained within that cookie is then used to customize your experience with our site. We use this information in order to serve the needs of our customers. We need to know who you are in order to allow account establishment and verify credit card information you have sent us. Also, the information that you store in your personal electronic lockbox is waiting for distribution to those that you authorize to receive such information at a predetermined time period that you select. The non-personal information that we collect from you is used for internal purposes to make your experience with our site more efficient and enjoyable. We may use the non-personal information we collect from our visitors and customers in an aggregate form to aid in our marketing efforts. All information submitted by a customer via the internet is stored on a server, which requires proper authentication for access. eLifeID servers are housed in a closed datacenter with access restricted to authorized personnel only. The facility is staffed around the clock 24/7 and video surveillance monitors all critical areas, including entrances. The servers are extensively hardened and tested against security exploits. All unnecessary services are disabled, all security patches are up-to-date and the servers are audited on a regular basis for attempted break-ins.
We employ minimum 128 bit SSL/TSL encryption technology to ensure that any sensitive information that is sent by you to us via the internet is protected from unauthorized interception. SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) is a protocol that allows traffic between our web server and your browser to be strongly encrypted, using public key technology. Encryption technology, backup servers, anti-virus, and firewall protection are just a few components of our overall security systems platform. During registration, you are required to establish a username and password for access to your account information.
Any information submitted by you by other means such as U.S. mail, facsimile or otherwise, is stored in a secure area that requires a key or key access code to gain entry. Access to this information is limited to only those employees who need the information in order to perform their job requirement.
Employees are properly trained and required to sign a confidentiality agreement that forbids them from disclosing any information to which the employee may have access. No PolicyWatch / eLifeID employee is authorized to call you and request personal information over the telephone. If you initiate a telephone call to PolicyWatch / eLifeID, you will be asked to verify specific information to authenticate your identity. The requested information could include, but is not limited to name, address, the last four digits of the your social security number, mother’s maiden name, and/or the answer to your pre-registered security questions. Once validated, employees are required to ask you for permission to view your account in order to serve your needs. Employees can only view your “Registration Data” that we have on file. They cannot view any information that you have stored in your personal account files. POLICYWATCH NETWORKS / ELIFEID WILL NEVER SOLICIT YOU BY EMAIL REQUESTING YOU TO UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE OR ASK YOU TO SUBMIT SUCH INFORMATION THROUGH AN EMAIL LINK.

Personally-identifiable information is collected only upon your paid subscription to establish an account and execution of our terms and conditions. Other than the required information to register for a lockbox account, all personally identifiable information is voluntarily entered. You maintain complete control of all information with regard to the type, quantity, and permission parameters authorizing the release of personal information. PolicyWatch / eLifeID will only release your information in accordance with the performance of services for which you subscribed to.
Only PolicyWatch / eLifeID employees, performing work on your account or the systems necessary to support your account and data integrity are permitted access.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
PolicyWatch / eLifeID does not lease, sell, share, or rent any of your personally identifiable information for any reason to anyone or any company including third party intermediaries or advertisers.
In the event that PolicyWatch goes through a business transition, such as merger or sale to another company, we will take reasonable steps to notify you personally.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those actually know to be under 13 years of age and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13 years of age. Our Terms & Conditions stipulate that you must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
